Why study Spanish in Madrid?

This historic city with a fresh cosmopolitan spirit is the number one destination for a Spanish study tour at any time of the year. Located in the very centre of the Iberian Peninsula, Spain´s fascinating capital is the only place where people and traditions from all Spanish regions meet and mix.

The teaching team have been handpicked for their qualifications, skills and warm personalities and are native Spanish speakers, educate to at least degree level and with several years of experience in teaching Spanish to students of all ages, nationalities and levels.

The teachers work as a team, share knowledge and benefit from the huge bank of internally developed learning materials and up-to-date publications. This ensures they select the most appropriate approach for each student or group, explaining even the most difficult grammar and language issues in a simple and memorable way.

Having classes in small groups with a maximum of 8 students (6 students on average) will maximise your participation and interaction with the teacher allowing constant guidance and feedback. During your programme you also get an in-depth understanding of the different socio-cultural aspects of Spanish life. And of course, all teaching takes place exclusively in Spanish.

What kind of Spanish courses are there?

There are three different courses to choose from: Intensive, Semi-intensive and evening, so there´s something for everyone.

The intensive course comprises 20 group classes per week, 4 lessons per day. It is the school´s most popular programme and provides just the right balance between classroom studies, individual practice and free time to enjoy Madrid.

The semi intensive course consists of 10 group classes per week, 2 lessons per day and is especially popular among students with other daily commitments such as studies or work.

The Evening course is a general Spanish course, conveniently schedules to suit those with a busy timetable. It is designed for those with daytime commitments who still want to work on improving their Spanish. It is available at all levels, consists of 4 classes a week, divided into two 1.5 hour blocks.

Afternoon activities

The afternoon activity programme is open to everybody and consists of over 60 fun and dynamic activites, designed to make you laugh, enjoy yourself and make friends whilst doing, seeing and learning about Madrid, its people and all it has to offer. Our unique mix of linguistic, cultural, historic and social activities will undoubtedly entertain you and ensure that you not only considerably improve your Spanish skills but have a truly memorable time with us.

The weekly programme consists of 5 activities (10 teaching hours) offered from Monday to Friday in the afternoon. Activities include:

Shared apartment

Located in pleasant residential areas, these apartments usually consist of four or five bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, living room and bathroom, and offer great value self-catering accommodation. Share your Spanish experience with international students and travelers of a similar age as you make the most of sunny Madrid.

One bedroom apartment

These recently refurbished luxury apartments are ideal for one person, a couple or two friends who are looking to be totally independent and self contained. They consist of one bedroom, living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom.

Student residence

Choose this option if you are looking for a fun and stimulating environment, and to meet both international and Spanish students whilst having your meals cooked, room cleaned and clothes washed and irones.
