My career over many years includes teaching English, Drama, World Faiths and the Performing Arts. I have worked in a variety of community settings for adult well-being, illness and bereavement support and Person Centred Counselling within charity and NHS services.
I graduated with the Cambridge TESOL in 2016 and with a Masters Degree from London University in 2018. I therefore can offer contemporary conversational or academic options for EFL students who seek a variety of work, study or social opportunities. I am humorous and creative in my approach and personally encourage individual or group projects.

Your teacher: María
María worked with us during her time in Liverpool, and it was a real pleasure to have her on the team. She is now back in Spain and ready to continue teaching.
María is a Spanish teacher for foreign learners with a background in tourism, which helps her connect easily with people from different cultures. She chose teaching because she wants to make a real difference.
She holds a Degree in Tourism and a Master’s in Linguistics Applied to the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language, completing her internship at the University of Liverpool, where she also taught international students.
Since 2018, María has taught Spanish online to learners across the UK and Europe, adapting her lessons to everyday, academic and professional needs.
She also has international experience, having taught Spanish for three years at ADA University in Baku, working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Spanish Embassy. She is a certified IB Teacher and DELE examiner.
When she’s not teaching, María enjoys The Traitors, a good scone and a proper pint — proof of her strong connection to the UK.
I am a Spanish Teacher for foreigners and I also teach English to little kids.
I became a teacher for a very simple reason – I want to make a difference. I also have experience in Tourism world (Tourism Degree) where I feel more connected to people from many different countries. It was my pleasure to do my Masters Internship in the University of Liverpool, January- March 2018 (Master in Linguistics Applied to the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language) During that time I worked with Hola People. Besides, I lived and worked in Liverpool three years during 2012-2014. I love the city and the UK, so I feel quite connected to this culture.

Originally from Vitoria (Spain), Iñigo has been living in Wales since 2013. He has been teaching Spanish and technical subjects for several years, and has 12 years of experience in private tuition and lessons in groups. Iñigo loves teaching Spanish and helping students to achieve their goals.

German lessons online with Cosi
The activity is held weekly and consists of a 2-hour lesson via Google Hangouts.
The lessons are academic but mostly focus on conversation, and include games and fun activities.
Your teacher: Cosi (German)
Born and raised in Germany, Cosi has lived in the UK for almost 30 years. After studying Ancient History and Archaeology at University, she started teaching German as a foreign language, initially at A-Level and over the years to learners of all ages, abilities and levels. She also teaches English (EFL, ESOL and Literacy/Phonics and Literature from Primary to GCSE), Greek, Spanish and French (the latter three Beginners to GCSE), as well as Maths (up to Key Stage 3), History (to A-Level), Geography and Sciences (to Key Stage 3). She has taught pupils aged 4-84 and with a variety of Special Educational Needs. As well as qualifying and working as a Teaching assistant (both with adults and children), she is a herbalist with her own range of herbal remedies and a nutritional advisor. With 23 years’ experience of providing private tuition alongside studying several languages, she has a wealth of skills and techniques for supporting her learners’ individual requirements.

Not a problem, you will have the chance to attend any other week, and you will keep your class.

We will refund the full amount discounting £20 for every lesson already taken.

I studied Spanish at university, graduating in 2015, but since graduation, my Spanish had gotten very rusty. I was looking for a way to keep up my Spanish and to improve my confidence, especially with my speaking skills.
I attended a lecture that Maria was giving in Liverpool about the Camino de Santiago, where she also gave a short Spanish language class. I was very impressed with her lesson and also found her accent to be very clear and understandable, so I signed up for one-to-one lessons over Skype.
I have now been studying with Maria for over a year and I am very pleased with the progress I have made, and very glad I started studying with her.
In our first lesson, Maria spent a great deal of time asking me questions about my interests and what I wanted from the classes, and she then tailored our lessons appropriately.
